[10/05/2025] Just got back from a day out and washing the car. Turns out the power washer was turned off so the water pressure was low. I only realised until after I started putting things away. Because I’m that kind of stupid, haha. This post’s an update, mostly. And I get to talk about writing […]
I have writer’s block currently. I’ve been busy, as much as an effectively unemployed man can be. You can thank my mum for getting me to not just skip this week. There’s no RWBY in this post. So if you were here for that, sorry. If you aren’t you won’t care. Or maybe you hated
It’s an old pun, but it works for this. If you read my post last week, you’ll know I’ve thoughts on RWBY, and not all of them are good. But, at the very least it gives me ideas that I can use in better ways. So long as I change it enough and say where the idea’s from, it’s not plagiarism. My idea would transform the character and change the plot around them to the point where the two versions aren’t the same.

Writing
This one’s about (some of the writing in) RWBY, an internet series that started in 2013 and whose future unsure given the company collapsed and then got bought by a previous owner. But the politics of the company aren’t what I’m here to talk about. Google Rooster Teeth if you want to know more. It’s interesting stuff.

WritingI’m ill while writing this, but I can’t be arsed writing my novella at the moment (not the one this is about), so this will have to do. Be grateful this isn’t a handful of misspelt bullet points followed by, “pffft I dunno”. Even then, I want to get this off my chest, since the

WritingTurns out I have enough bile in me to still be bitter about this one. Ironic, given it’s one of the few stories I have with a light tone. Though, writing this out, there’s little legitimate venom in me. It’s just a disappointment. I know it’s a bit rubbish to say, ‘Well I think it’s

WritingIronically enough, I had a meltdown the other week. Screaming, crying, the whole shebang. I’m not telling you any more of it because my privacy is my own (said the man writing a blog). I’m fine now, but it’s a wake-up call. I felt drained afterwards, listless, all shallow breaths and wiping my face and
